What is the UCI Gravel World Series?
The UCI Gravel World Series is the official global series of qualifying events for the UCI Gravel World Championships, bringing together elite professionals and passionate amateurs to race on the world’s finest gravel.
Organised under the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), the series spans continents — from the forests of Scotland to the plains of the American Midwest and the vineyards of France. Each event tests endurance, skill and spirit across stunning, unpaved terrain.

how it works
The UCI Gravel World Series includes a growing number of races worldwide, each offering riders the chance to qualify for the UCI Gravel World Championships.
Here’s how it works:
• Open to All Riders – Anyone aged 19 or older can take part, with separate men’s and women’s age categories.
• Top 25% Qualify – The top 25% of riders in each age group earn a spot at the UCI Gravel World Championships.
• Elite & Age-Group Races – Each event features both Elite and Age Group categories, ensuring fair competition and an inclusive atmosphere.
• Global Locations – The Series includes events across Europe, North America, Asia, Africa, and Oceania.
